Welcome to Northglenn American Legion Post 22, one of the oldest and most respected fraternal organizations in Denver. For decades the men and women of Post 22 have served the veterans and communities of the north Denver area. We take great pride in our long, storied history of fulfilling our mission to “consecrate and sanctify our comradeship by our devotion to mutual helpfulness.”
American Legion Post 22 is located on the Great Plains beneath the shadow of the Rocky Mountains in Northglenn, Colorado. The men and women of Post 22 have created a community organization that offers many things to our members. With a visit to the post you’ll find yourself in a low-key, comfortable, community-oriented setting where everyone is welcome.
There is, of course, the requisite bar which was recently remodeled and features a Happy Hour from 4:00 to 6:00pm, Monday through Friday. Our building also features a pool table, jukebox, seven televisions, a horseshoe court, a covered outdoor smoking patio and much more. The facility also has an event hall that was also recently remodeled. It has the capacity for approximately 100 guests and can be rented by members and non-members alike. Looking for something to do? There is always something happening at Post 22. The Post cooks up weekly Friday night dinners and breakfasts on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of the month. Special events for holidays and other events are a regular part of our schedule as well. What’s happening at Post 22? Check out our event calendar.
More than a building however American Legion Post 22 takes its mission of service to veterans and the community seriously. We take pride in sponsoring and extraordinary Honor Guard. We have active Auxiliary and SAL organizations and through our Chaplain and Service Officer, we strive to provide help whenever and wherever needed. We support many causes within our community and in our schools.
